Compassion is Still Alive

To the Editor:

I would like to thank the Bath ambulance, paramedics, fire and police department for their speedy response during my 911 call for my wife’s medical emergency on Thursday, April 27. They were professional, compassionate and did everything they could to revive my wife. You are all a credit to your profession. I would also like to thank the nurses and doctors at the Wellness Center; you did everything possible to save my wife but it wasn’t in the cards. All of you at the center were professional and compassionate and especially Nurse Nathan. I would also like to thank the Akron General Hospital coroner’s office and Nosek-McCreery Funeral Home in Brecksville for helping me to get my wife’s remains home to Ontario, Canada, as quick as possible. You are all a credit to your professions and have shown that compassion and sympathy is still alive.
