Sugar brought sweetness to a little girl
by Sue Serdinak
Aspen was visiting her grandparents, Sheri and Paul Ellsworth, this summer and discovered painted rocks in the parks and near sidewalks. The rocks were all signed “Sugar.” After some detective work, Aspen and her sisters, Willow and Meadow, discovered the rock painter lived a few houses away from her grandparents. It was a joyous day when Aspen knocked on Jane McDonough’s door and asked if she was Sugar.
McDonough said she has been painting and placing rocks near the trails throughout the community for the past year. To date, no one else has tracked her down.
