BVS accepts grant applications through Oct. 15

The Bath Volunteers for Service is accepting grant applications through Oct. 15 at bathvolunteersforservice.com for organizations benefiting the community.

Grants are awarded to a diverse group of organizations that benefit families and children, including those combating poverty and food insecurity; provide crisis prevention and emergency support; provide educational and healthcare opportunities; and serve other community interests and needs.

BVS supports organizations based on their 501(c)(3) status, geographic service area with focus on Summit County residents, the measurable impact of the donation, and the reputation and performance of the organization requesting the grant.
