Aug. 1—Officers assisted Seven Hills Police Department in executing murder warrants for two homicide suspects who were believed to have committed a crime in Seven Hills and returned to a W. Aurora Road residence in Sagamore Hills. Suspects were later taken into custody.

Police responded to a Nikita Court residence in reference to a neighbor dispute, which included threats of violence.

Aug. 3—A young white male was found walking in the area of the state Route 82 bridge with a bloody arm. The male said he cut his arm with a razor blade and was transported to the hospital.

After a hit-and-run incident near Valley View and Chaffee roads, the at-fault vehicle fled the scene. Police caught up to the vehicle and charged the driver with driving under suspension, expired plates and possession of drug paraphernalia. The passenger was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Aug. 5—Officers responded to a Willow Lake Drive residence for report of an unresponsive adult male. The man was later pronounced dead.

Aug. 6—A man reported a case of debit card fraud when his card and PIN number were used to spend $1,874 at a Hallmark Home Solutions store.

Aug. 7—Police received a call about a domestic dispute on Eaton Drive. A male was intoxicated and had a verbal altercation with family members. He was cited for disorderly conduct.

Aug. 9—A Smithfield Drive resident called stating that his on-again-off-again girlfriend was at his residence, and he wanted her to leave.

Aug. 11—Officers responded to a Kilkenny Court residence for report of someone attempting to break into the house through the garage. The suspect was drunk, confused and was given a misdemeanor citation for disorderly conduct.

Aug. 12—A woman reported fraud after receiving a call saying she owed $9,725 for a loan she did not take out.

Aug. 13—Police received a report of a car horn going off for 10 minutes on Deerfield Drive. The intoxicated driver was slumped onto the horn of the parked car and was cited for disorderly conduct.

Aug. 15—Officers responded to an unruly 17-year-old female at a Kingsview Drive who had gotten into an argument with her mother.

Police went to a W. Aurora Road health care center for report of an unresponsive male. He was later pronounced dead.

Aug. 19—An ATV 4-wheeler was reported stolen from a Brandywine Road residence.

Officers responded to a hit-and-run incident at Olde Eight and Valley View roads. The vehicle at-fault fled the scene but was later found. The driver was cited for assured clear distance ahead.

Aug. 20—A personal trainer from a W. Aurora Road fitness center reported telecommunications harassment from a client’s husband.

Aug. 21—A female resident on Canterbury Lane reported being followed while driving home at night. She then found damage to her outdoor plants and lawn chair the next morning.

Aug. 24—Police responded to a call from an Eaton Ridge Drive resident to perform a welfare check on his brother, who was addicted to drugs and had threatened to harm himself or others.

Aug. 25—Officers inspected a damaged entryway screen door at a Holzhauer Road property, which property caretakers thought was a break-in attempt. Police continued house checks until Sept. 9.

Aug. 26—A Greenwood Parkway resident reported damage to her shared garage. Police later pieced together that the caller had unknowingly caused the damage. ∞
