Valentis open restaurant in Broadview Heights after venture in Beachwood

Everything in Valentis’ Italian Ristorante – from the rustic Italian cuisine to the warm welcome from staff – is a full presentation of owners Linda and Milo Valenti.

“We want people to come in and enjoy their food and have a good time,” said Linda.

The restaurant, located at 203 E Royalton Rd., Broadview Heights, opened Feb. 12. This is the second go-round for the Valentis; they previously owned an Italian restaurant in Beachwood that closed after road construction blocked its storefront, said Linda.

When an opportunity opened up in Broadview Heights, 10 minutes from the Valentis’ Richfield home, they took it.

“We brought back a lot of signature dishes from the old restaurant,” said Linda. “Everyone wants our meatballs. and our pomodoro sauce is out of this world.”

Milo and Chef Adam Boker brainstormed some additional items to round out the new menu, which includes Italian staples like chicken Parmesan and a mussels appetizer. The restaurant also offers an extensive wine list and craft cocktails.

“The restaurant was refaced and is absolutely beautiful,” said Linda. “The theme on our bar top is piano keys.”

This is a nod to their previous location, which featured live piano music.

“Eventually, we will be bringing the piano back, because people enjoy singing around a piano, especially on a Friday or Saturday night,” Linda said.

She and Milo have been pleased with the reception from the community so far; once customers found out they had reopened, many have visited the new location.

“It’s quite a testament to us that they are coming back,” Linda said.

And the feeling is mutual.

“We’re thrilled to be in Broadview Heights; we not only enjoy being close to home, but we also enjoy the clientele,” she said. “We want to become an integral part of the community and a staple here for a long time to come.”
