Letters to the Editor
To the Editor:
I believe that every child in Ohio has the right to attend excellent public schools. Providing our children with the strong foundation of a good education is essential not just for their future success, but also for the future of our communities and state.
It’s time to elect state legislators with the ability and vision to address Ohio’s school funding issues. Noah Spinner, who is running to represent District 31 in the Ohio House, will make our students, teachers and schools a top priority. Spinner is backed by the Ohio Federation of Teachers and the Ohio Education Association. And he believes in providing universal school meals so that no child goes hungry and every child is ready to learn.
When our students thrive, our state thrives. I encourage you to join me in voting for Noah Spinner.

To the Editor:
I have good news: The Bath Park Board has included in its bylaws a section for environmental impact. It states that there will be a discussion on the environment on every action, event or issue that comes before them.
I understand that there was a concern on the trees that came down in the community park for the new parking area. We did not like that either, but there was no optional alternative. The trustees did research other solutions, but nothing would work except buying more land.
Keep in mind that Bath trustees are active on protecting the environment. They did buy North Fork.
I ask if anyone has suggestions on any park board or Bath issues related to environmental impact to let us know. All suggestions are welcome.

To the Editor:
Bath residents are very fortunate to have easy access to the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, Bath Nature Preserve and other beautiful public lands where we can enjoy nature. These green spaces enhance our quality of life, providing opportunities for exercise, recreation and leisure activities. They contribute to the value of our homes and help make Bath a desirable place to live.
Not everyone realizes that what goes on in the Ohio Legislature can directly affect our parks, clean air and water. We need a representative who understands the importance of conserving these resources for our children and grandchildren and has the courage to fight to protect them. That’s why I will be voting for Eagle Scout Noah Spinner for Ohio House District 31. Spinner, who earned a law degree from the University of Akron, will hold polluters accountable, promote clean energy and energy efficiency, and ensure that our community has the support it needs to protect our irreplaceable parks.
I invite you to learn more about Noah Spinner at spinnerforohio.com and encourage you to vote for him; early voting begins Oct. 6.
