Mark your calendars for Saturday, Dec. 2, at 6:30 p.m., as downtown Hudson comes alive with a spectacular Winter Fireworks display, promising an awe-inspiring show of lights. The dazzling pyrotechnics will light up the night sky, setting the tone for the festive season ahead. In the spirit of giving, Hudson’s Santa’s Mailbox on the Clocktower Green provides an opportunity for children to send heartfelt letters to Santa and receive a personal response, adding a touch of magic to the holiday season.
Stroll through Hudson for the Holiday Walk
Take a leisurely stroll through downtown Hudson during the Hudson Holiday Walk on Dec. 3, from noon to 4 p.m., an event filled with live music, carriage rides, games and an array of activities for all ages. Sip on warm cocoa as you soak in the festivities and the enjoy the warmth of our community.
Hudson Christkindlmarkt: Fun for the Entire Family
Dec. 8-10, Hudson will transform into a winter wonderland with the much-awaited Christkindlmarkt, an annual event that promises to fill the air with the enchanting spirit of the holiday season. The Christkindlmarkt is an immersive experience that combines the magic of a traditional European Christmas market with the warmth and charm of Hudson’s community.
With nearly 30 vendors showcasing an array of handcrafted treasures, Christkindlmarkt offers the perfect opportunity to find unique gifts for your loved ones. From the aroma of roasted nuts and freshly baked strudels to the sizzle of mouth-watering bratwurst, the market ensures your culinary cravings will be satisfied. Warm cider, mulled wine and holiday beer provide the perfect accompaniment to the festive foods.

Merry Mulch Program: Contributing to a Sustainable Future
Beginning Jan. 2, Hudson’s Merry Mulch program will swing into action, providing an environmentally friendly way to recycle holiday trees. By leaving your trees on the tree lawn for weekly pickups, you can contribute to the creation of mulch, facilitating a sustainable approach to post-holiday cleanup. The program runs through Jan. 29.
