Vets can march into Great Clips for free cuts

This Veterans Day, for the thirteenth consecutive year, all 97 Northeast Ohio Great Clips area locations are showing appreciation to those who serve by offering free haircuts for veterans. In 2022, Northeast Ohio Great Clips salons provided over 3,400 free haircuts to veterans through the promotion.

This year, Veterans’ Day will be celebrated on Friday, Nov. 10, while Great Clips will also acknowledge the special day on Saturday, Nov. 11. On either day, all military veterans, reservists or active-duty personnel can visit any of Great Clip’s 97 area salons for free service. If your loved one is a vet, reservist or on active duty and cannot make it into the salon that day, stop in and Great Clips will provide a certificate for them to use any time before the end of the November.

“Most of us know at least one veteran we would like to thank on that day,” said Hudson resident and Great Clips franchisee Jeff Lehman, whose father and father-in-law were WWII and Korean War veterans, respectively. “Give the [free haircut] card to a veteran in your family, a neighbor or just someone you notice is a veteran to thank them for serving our country. It’s a simple, yet meaningful way for more people to show appreciation to veterans with the help of Great Clips.”

Hours vary by salon, but are generally Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-7 p.m.; Saturday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.; and Sunday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Save time and check-in online by downloading the Great Clips app. ∞
