Hinckley Oaks grand opening showcases senior living

The Village at Hinckley Oaks held a grand opening ribbon cutting ceremony on August 24.

Guests could view a model home and enjoy a spread of appetizers, pastries and beverages.

Local officials attended the event along with members of the community. The developer is Pride One Construction; architect is MPG; management company is LMS Management. Residents started moving in beginning in April. There are currently 32 units with 117 occupants with construction to be continued through December 2023.

The mostly single floor apartments typically have two bedrooms, two bathrooms and 1-2 car garages with some townhome style units and a standalone unit. President of Pride One Tim Courtad said Hinckley Oaks is unique to the company’s building in that a club house, including an exercise room, is included in the complex with many upgrades, such as gas ranges in the units. He said many residents moving in “will be coming from a large Hinckley home and we have worked to make these units feel like a home not an apartment.”

The Village at Hinckley Oaks is located at the corner of state Route 303 and W. 130th Street. ∞
