Bath Volunteers for Service announce annual Tour of Distinctive Homes

The Bath Volunteers for Service announced its 46th annual Tour of Distinctive Homes, offering a virtual glimpse inside area homes and gardens with an opportunity to glean decorating inspiration for your own homes.

BVS is a nonprofit organization that raises money to award scholarships to students and provide annual grants to local nonprofits serving men, women and children in need throughout Summit County. The virtual tour is the main source of grantmaking for these causes.

The tour features six unique area homes, in which outdoor features, kitchens and entertainment areas, and relaxing, comfy areas for family time will be highlighted. The tour will be accessible for continuous viewing on a laptop, phone or notebook from June 1-12 via link sent to ticket holders.

New this year for those who want a taste of the former in-person aspect of the tour is a “watch party” to take place on Saturday, June 1, from 9-11 a.m. at the Bath United Church of Christ Fellowship Hall. A limited number of ticket holders at the $50 and above level, with registration, will mix and mingle while viewing the homes on large screens, hear from speakers on decorating and gardening, and enjoy light refreshments.
