Spring into Nature with STEM

Embark on a journey of discovery with your young adventurers at “Spring into Nature with STEM” on April 27, from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. at the University of Akron Field Station in Bath Nature Preserve, 4240 Ira Rd.

The event includes over 20 hands-on activities, a trail discovery card, photography, bookmobile, celestial observatory and more, with a focus on science, technology, engineering and math in the great outdoors.

Held rain or shine, the event is designed for kindergarteners through fifth-graders (although everyone is invited to participate). The University of Akron Field Station, Bath Township Park Board and Bath Township sponsored the event for young learners to engage in multiple STEM stations, each offering a unique insight into the wonders of nature.

Whether students are fascinated by flora and fauna or captivated by celestial mysteries, there's something for every curious mind. Students will also receive an exclusive nature journal and tote filled with newfound knowledge to take home. ∞
