Spotlights Theater presents “Working”

Based on Studs Terkel's best-selling book of interviews with American workers, “Working” paints a vivid portrait of the workers that the world so often takes for granted: the schoolteacher, the phone operator, the waitress, the millworker, the mason and the housewife just to name a few.

Nominated for six Tony Awards in 1978, this classic has been updated for a modern age.

“Working” is the Broadview Heights Spotlights’ Annual Coffee House production featuring a complimentary beverage bar (non-alcoholic) sponsored by Caruso’s Coffee. Several luscious desserts will also be available for purchase sponsored, in part, by Creekside Restaurant.

The show runs Feb. 23-March 3. Performances are at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Fridays and Saturdays at and at 3 p.m. on Sundays. All shows will be held at Spotlights Theater, 9543 Broadview Rd., Bldg. 22 (on the Broadview Heights city campus next to the police department).
