Cabin Fever Tour

As a way of supporting local businesses and institutions, the Richfield Historical Society is holding its annual Cabin Fever Tour on Saturday, March 16. Created in 2009, the popular event offers individuals the opportunity to escape their winter doldrums and visit treasure houses of local history, art, antiques, cuisine, gardening, gift items, home furnishings and more in the communities of Broadview Heights, Richfield, Hinckley, and Peninsula. Dollars spent locally are more likely to stay in the community.

Richfield participants that will welcome guests include: Carter Manor, Country Maid Ice Cream, Countryside Florist, Different Branches Same Roots, Ohio Hardwood Furniture, Olesia’s Taverne of Richfield (reservations required), Pierogies of Cleveland Market & Café, Polka Dot Pincushion, Richfield Branch Library, Richfield Historical Society, Somerville Antiques, Stitches & Stowaways and Stone & Sage.

Hinckley participants include: Greensmith Garden & Gift Shop, Hinckley Donut Shop, Hinckley Historical Society, Minnehaha Water and Southern Breeze Salon & Boutique.

Peninsula participants will be: Century Cycles, Cuyahoga Valley Historical Museum, Peninsula Library, Peninsula Art Academy, Peninsula Village Antiques, Purplebrown Farm Store, River Light Gallery and Trail Mix.
