Jazz Echoes Gala of Giving (June 8)

Open Tone Music and Rubber City Jazz Festival host the Jazz Echoes Gala of Giving on June 8 from 6-10 p.m. at House Three-Thirty in Akron. It is an evening filled with musical entertainment, food and dancing. Twice Emmy-nominated musician Kofi B. will emcee the program, which includes Akron musicians Dan Wilson, Tommy Lehman and Jaron LeGrair. Proceeds support Open Tone Music, which provides music education and performance opportunities for all, with an emphasis on underserved communities, and The Rubber City Jazz & Blues Festival, which celebrates Akron’s role as a jazz and blues hub.
