Interfaith Justice Alliance series covers public safety
The Interfaith Justice Alliance series is a combined effort of St. Hilary Parish, Faith Lutheran Church, New Hope Baptist Church, Temple Israel and Prince of Peace Baptist Church, and is intended to engage, educate and empower participants on social issues present in our country today. This year’s theme is “Uniting for Public Safety.”

Topic: Safer communities through mentoring
Speakers: Russel Neal from Dads on Duty and Dele Olabisi from the Inner City Soccer Club
March 13
Location: St. Hilary Church, 2750 W. Market St., Fairlawn.
Topic: Public safety: how schools strive to be safe
Speakers: LaCresia Beecher, principal at Buchtel Community Learning Center; LaShawna Grimes, teacher at Buchtel Community Learning Center; LaMonica Davis, principal at Helen Arnold Community Learning Center; Denise Williams, teacher at Helen Arnold Community Learning Center; and Jennifer Woodman, principal at St. Hilary School.

Topic: The voices of youth: a cry for safety
Speakers: a panel of young people
