Independence Fall Fest

Independence’s 16th annual Fall Fest will be Sunday, Sept. 25, from 12-4 p.m., in Elmwood Park. The event includes a pre-ordered clambake, children’s activities, classic car cruise-in, farmer’s market, live music and tractor-drawn hayrides. City and school nonprofits will have booths throughout the park offering refreshments, activities or games. Admission is $1 or a canned food donation. Following Fall Fest, from 4-6 p.m., is a concert in the park featuring the SUMRADA band. For more information call the community services department at 216-524-7373. ∞
