Brecksville-Broadview Heights Elementary School families enjoyed a variety of activities at the annual PSO Back to School Bash on Aug. 21.

From face painting and inflatables to food trucks and playground fun, elementary families enjoyed an evening of festivities, school pride and connection.

This year’s program also featured an engaging presentation of Outback Ray’s Amazing Animal Show, which provided families with an up-close look at a variety of reptiles and other wildlife.

Congratulations go out to Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School junior Anna Costin, who recently broke the existing school record during her first race of the season on the girls cross country team.

Costin posted a time of 17:46.4, which outpaced the previously held record by 23 seconds at the Hoka Showcase on Sept. 2.
