As summer begins to wind down, Brecksville continues to experience exciting momentum with new businesses and investments throughout our community. From the remarkable progress at Valor Acres to locally-owned businesses opening their doors, our city remains a place where people choose to invest and grow. It is exciting to see Brecksville continue to thrive while maintaining the welcoming character that makes our community so special.

Valor Acres continues to take shape

Construction at Valor Acres continues to make tremendous progress, as several exciting businesses and organizations will soon call this transformational development home. Among the most significant announcements is Cleveland Clinic’s new four-story, 60,000-square-foot outpatient care facility, scheduled to open in late 2027. The facility will offer expanded primary and specialty care, advanced imaging, rehabilitation services, and create more than 100 new caregiver positions. This investment brings world-class healthcare closer to home while creating new employment opportunities for our region.

Valor Acres will also welcome Atoned, a boutique fitness and wellness studio focused on health and community, along with Club Valor, with more details to be announced soon. We are also excited to welcome Luna Bakery & Café, adding another outstanding dining destination to Brecksville.

Supporting local business

Brecksville’s business community continues to grow, with exciting new investments and locally- owned businesses opening throughout the city. We are pleased to welcome several new additions to our business community, including Top String Lacrosse, Knuth’s Boutique and Talani’s Pastissima.

Top String Lacrosse brings a premier lacrosse retailer to Brecksville, offering equipment, apparel and expert services for players of all ages. Knuth’s Boutique features a curated selection of women’s apparel, shoes and accessories with personalized service. Talani’s Pastissima will offer fresh, handcrafted pasta, homemade sauces, authentic Italian specialties and culinary classes, adding another unique dining destination to our community.

Construction updates

City road construction projects should be completed before the start of the new school year. Thank you to our residents for their patience as we continue investing in Brecksville’s infrastructure. Also, roadway improvements surrounding the Brecksville-Broadview Heights Middle School and High School campuses are now complete. The new entrance on Mill Road will help improve traffic flow and reduce congestion during school arrival and dismissal. As students prepare to return to school and we begin looking ahead to another beautiful autumn in Brecksville, I want to thank our residents, businesses and community partners for their continued support and commitment to making our city an exceptional place to live, work and raise a family.
