Cuyahoga Valley Native Sons & Daughters host alumni reunion

The Cuyahoga Valley Native Sons & Daughters will host an historic centennial alumni celebration July 17-19 at the Brooklyn Exchange Cabin in Hinckley, Ohio, honoring the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Indian Guides program.

The weekend-long gathering will commemorate a century of tradition, leadership and connections created through what was originally known as the Indian Guides and Indian Princesses programs – now carried forward by the National Longhouse.

July 17 will feature an overnight gathering for current member families of CVNSD with camping, bonfires, stories and outdoor activities. July 18 marks the official alumni reunion, an adult-only, multi-generational event welcoming former participants from all iterations of the organization’s history. July 19 will feature an alumni continental breakfast for those who camped on site overnight.

Tickets must be purchased in advance at cvnsd.org/event/centennial-alumni-reunion.
