Vincent Family Insurance makes home in Hudson

by Emily Canning-Dean

It’s been six years since Beau Vincent opened his first Allstate Insurance office in Stow. Later, he bought an agency in Uniontown and then another in Silver Lake, and this year he was proud to open Vincent Family Insurance in his own hometown of Hudson.

“Hudson is really where I wanted to be and represent,” Vincent said, adding that he has combined operations of all four agencies at the Hudson office located at 5929 Darrow Rd.

With a staff of 22 people and more than 13,000 customers, Vincent Family Insurance is one of the largest Allstate agencies in the country.

“We are easily in the top 100,” he said. “Your average agency has a couple thousand customers. My goal is to double the size of our customer base and our employees by the end of 2026.”

After working as a regional manager in the corporate world for many years, Vincent said he decided it was time for a change.

“A lot of people go into insurance because they want to be self-employed,” he said. “But I wanted to offer people the best place to work. Our motto is ‘We love insurance, but we love people more.’ I wanted to create a workplace where people are happy.”

Vincent Family Insurance offers a variety of policies including home and auto as well as renter’s insurance, condo policies, landlord policies, life insurance and coverage for items like boats, golf carts and ATVs.

“One of my top priorities is to help my customers find the right coverage for them,” Vincent said. “It’s not just about price. Insurance is for your worst day, not your best day. I hope you never need to use it, but I want to make sure that if your house burns down or if you are in an accident, you have the protection you need. Each person needs a different level of coverage, and I want to help them with that.”

While excellent customer service is important to Vincent within his agency, he thinks it is something to be celebrated throughout the entire community. That is why Vincent Family Insurance has launched the Hudson Community Award, which will honor individuals in Hudson on a quarterly basis who provide outstanding community service.

“Five years ago, this started as an award for our agency where everyone could nominate an employee who went above and beyond,” Vincent said. “But we thought how cool it would be to recognize the barista at your favorite coffee shop who always offers excellent service or the teacher or coach who goes the extra mile.”

Vincent said he plans to work with Olympic Awards in Hudson to gift a small token to each winner quarterly and also plans to gift winners a monetary award.

“We also want to work with other businesses in the community to have a basket of goodies to go along with the award,” he said. “We encourage people in the community to submit nominations.” Visit vincentfamilyinsurance.com.
