PartsSource establishes new headquarters in Hudson
by Dan Holland
For Alex Gedeon, president of enterprise and COO of PartsSource, the fall ribbon cutting for the company’s new headquarters at 50 Executive Pkwy., signaled the beginning of a great partnership with the city of Hudson.

“We had our whole team of about 200 team members, who live in the area, here for the ribbon cutting, and we were fortunate to be joined by a number of leaders of the city – the mayor and a number of councilmembers and the head of the chamber of commerce,” said Gedeon. “It was a great celebratory event for PartsSource, and it gave us an opportunity to meet a number of folks in the community.”
The healthcare technology company, which has been in business for more than 20 years, occupies the second and third floors of the modern, 70,000-square-foot Class A office building. Interior renovation considerations included adding a customer experience center, an education center for training in the biomedical field, a conference room and collaboration spaces.
“We provide tech-enabled solutions that allow healthcare customers across the country to procure all of the products and services they need to keep their clinics up and running,” explained Gedeon. “If their MRI, CTs or ultrasounds breakdown, they’re using our technology to get the right service and parts to get it back up to make sure that they can provide efficient care.”
Gedeon, who grew up in Hudson, said a few dynamics played into the decision for the company in relocating from Aurora to Hudson. Company representatives visited a number of spaces for lease before settling on the new locale.
“First, we wanted it to be in a place that is central to our existing employee base, and Hudson is smack-dab in the middle of that bullseye,” Gedeon explained. “Second, we wanted a space that embodied our core principles of driving innovation, collaboration and proximity to our customers, and this space brought that to life. And third, we wanted to be in a community that we felt close in line with that we could invest into bilaterally over the decades, and Hudson was the perfect fit.”
Feedback from employees and customers has all been positive since the move to the new location.
“You can just see this energy in the community and healthcare technology profession we serve, with them wanting to come to our space and use it as an area of collaboration in the industry,” said Gedeon. “It’s been really fun to see the energy that it has brought to the team and the collaboration that we’re seeing. We were able to open the office with a number of customers in the building, including a great fireside chat with the clinical leader at MetroHealth, which is one of our partners based locally.”
The company plans to be involved in the city while becoming a pillar of the local business community, said Gedeon.
“We want to be an active community member. We joined the chamber of commerce,” he explained. “We see it as a way of creating interesting and rewarding jobs that benefit the community, and as a way to integrate with folks in the community who are interested in what we are doing and having them participate in programming in our experience and education center.”“The spirit of the community we landed in is very important to us, and Hudson has been a great partner,” Gedeon added. “We will continue to look for ways to strengthen those relationships and be an active member of the community.”
