Town Trust grants issued
Annually, for the last 18 years, the Richfield Town Trust has awarded grants to property owners in the Richfield Historic District, to help defray the cost of maintaining century buildings. This year, Dr. Neal Sivula, of the Dancin Paws Veterinary Clinic, and Dave Winar, of Winar Connections, each received $5,000 to help pay for renovation work.
The money for the grants was raised by the Richfield Chamber of Commerce from the Sweet Corn Bike Challenge and was turned over to the 501(c)(3) nonprofit Richfield Town Trust to invest and distribute the earnings to owners of century buildings. To date over $310,000 has been awarded in grants.
