March 2—A male resident reported fraud after his computer was hacked and scammers convinced him to buy $4,000 in gift cards.

March 6—A resident reported identity theft when someone used his identity to open a $20,437 small business loan.

March 13—Officers responded to a Dunham Road residence for report of a suspicious person. The male in question had been pounding on his neighbor’s door. He was found to be intoxicated and hit his neighbor’s car in the driveway with his own car. He was cited for OVI and failure to control.

March 17—Police responded to a Summersweet Trail residence for report of a domestic dispute between a female and her parents. It did not turn physical.

March 17—Officers responded to an Eaton Ridge Drive residence for report a male and female fighting and the male punching the female in the face. The police spoke to the parties involved and they both said they had a disagreement but denied the physical altercation.

March 17—A possible domestic dispute was reported at a Rockefeller Lane residence. The male and female in the dispute were intoxicated, and the male acted aggressively toward his girlfriend.

March 19—A young male who had stolen from a W. Aurora Road business on March 14 returned to the store. Police found his residence and reported the issue to his mother. He paid for the item he stole and was banned from the store.

March 19—A Shorthorn Drive resident had a package containing a new iPhone stolen from his porch. The phone was valued at $1,233. Beachwood, North Ridgeville and Mayfield Heights recently reported stolen FedEx packages as well, most containing iPhones.

March 20—Police took a fraud report of someone gaining access to a resident’s Ohio EBT account and using all the funds.

March 20—Officers responded to a S. Boyden Road residence for report of a suicidal male. He was reported to have two guns, a grenade and a bulletproof vest. He was transported to the hospital for evaluation.

March 21—Police responded to a Bridgewater Lane residence for report of fraud. The incident is under investigation.

March 30—Police were dispatched to a Hampton Court residence for report of damage to a cluster of mailboxes. ∞
