Registration is open for June 1 community garage sale

Sign-ups are now being taken for the 42nd Annual Richfield Community Garage Sale, sponsored by the Richfield Civic Organization with support from The Richfield Times. This popular event will be held on Saturday, June 1, from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

The June Richfield Times will include an itemized listing of all sales and a map showing the location of each garage sale. The event will also be promoted in neighboring communities.

Cost to participate is just $15. To do so, download the garage sale sign-up form at richfieldcivicorganization.org or print your 18 words-or-less ad and mail with your payment to Richfield Civic Organization, P.O. Box 37, Richfield, 44286. Include your name, address, phone number and email address. Only the street address will be included in the sale listing. Garage sale ads must be received, not postmarked, by May 1.

A limited number of spaces will be available for sales in the parking lot behind Richfield Town Hall. Each space will have its own space designation.

Individuals holding sales at their home will pick up their sign at Richfield Woods Park on Wednesday, May 29, 3-7 p.m. or on Thursday, May 30, 5-7 p.m. Participants who are unable to pick up their sign on either of those dates will need to make alternate arrangements.

For additional information about the event, contact Karen at kls1650@roadrunner.com or 330-659-4750. No ads will be taken over the phone or by email.

The members of this volunteer organization request that residents not tag along with this event and hold a garage sale without paying the $15 fee. All of the organization’s profit is given back to the community. ∞
