Bath Gamma Garden Club

Bath Gamma Garden Club’s 2024 calendar has been set and includes informative speakers, “Make and Take” projects, garden and other site tours, socials and more.

On April 3, at 7 p.m., at the Hale Farm Gate House, the club will host a terrarium make-and-take project as well as an overview of the Salt Box garden. The garden, which has been BGGC’s project at Hale Farm for many years, is designed to resemble a garden from the 1830s, in keeping with Hale Farm’s time period.

On May 1 at 7 p.m. Julie Frey, curator from Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens, will present “The History and Design of Stan Hywet Hall Gardens.”

The group’s annual community fundraiser and raffle will take place June 5. Bert Nero from Landscape Design Schools: Garden Club of Ohio will present, “Help, the Sun Moved.” Proceeds will help pay for soil, flowers and other materials for members to use in plantings throughout Bath Township including the Bath Post Office, Veteran’s Memorial, Town Hall, the service building and in local cemeteries. Community members, gardeners, guests and everyone who enjoys a fun evening out are welcome to attend.
