Over 700 enjoyed the Snowbird Festival

The Snowbird Festival held on Jan. 21 at the Richfield Heritage Preserve attracted about 700 people. License plates showed visitors came from Summit and surrounding counties.

Sledding on a hill near the Amity House was a big attraction, as well as crafts, games, marshmallow roasting and story time.

Refreshments were offered free, including chili that was donated by Teschner’s Taverne.

Richfield Joint Recreation District, Richfield Village and Richfield Township sponsored the free event. ∞
