As part of the 19th year for the annual Great Gifts Dinner, more than 300 guests attended the annual event hosted by the Highland Foundation at Weymouth Country Club Nov. 11.

The theme of this year’s dinner was Honor Gala since the event was held on Veterans’ Day.

Theresa Wright, Executive Director of the Highland Foundation, told members of the Highland Board of Education Nov. 20 that preliminary totals indicated contributors raised approximately $125,000 as part of this year’s event. All of the money raised provides funding for enriched educational opportunities.

The evening featured dinner, music and a wide range of auction items and gifts, along with several items on the dessert table guests could bid on. The winner of the Geneva-on-the-Lake getaway was Jo Ann Byrne; the winner of the liquor cart was Carey Hanni; the winner of the wine pull $100 gift card was Lisa Reynolds; and the winner of the Blantons bourbon pull is Dan Nagy. ∞
