Dec. 1—Officers reported to Summersweet Trail for a welfare check on a female resident.

Dec. 5—A Greenwood Parkway resident located a 2-year-old boy walking down the road alone. The boy left the house when his older brother was supposed to be watching him. Police and the resident reunited the boy with his mother.

Dec. 5—Police responded to a disturbance between three people at an Eaton Ridge apartment building.

Dec. 5—Carter Road residents complained of Illuminating Company employees trespassing on their property. The employees were from a tree company contracted out from the Illuminating Company and were trimming trees by power lines.

Dec. 6—A male resident reported fraud after his soon-to-be ex-wife used his credit card.

Dec. 8—A Brandywine Road resident stated someone stole his inflatable Christmas decorations from his yard.

Dec. 8—Police aided Northfield Village police officers in stopping an Old North Road resident that fled the Northfield police during a traffic stop. She had a warrant through Sagamore Hills and the Summit County Sheriff’s Department.

Dec. 8—Officers reported to a Woodside Drive residence for report of a 13-year-old who didn’t return from school. Police tracked her down and explained why it is dangerous to run away from home.

Dec. 8—Police were dispatched to an Olde 8 Road school for report of a damaged vehicle in the parking lot.

Dec. 13—During a traffic stop on Olde 8 Road, the driver was found to have multiple warrants through Portage County.

Dec. 13—Police went to a N. Gannet Road residence after a male reported his wife punched him in the face after he confronted her about an affair she is having.

Dec. 15—A male on Countryside Drive was unresponsive and was later determined to have died from natural causes.

Dec. 22—Officers responded to Valley View Road for report of a car hitting a deer. The driver and passenger were fine but the deer was dispatched due to injuries.

Dec. 23—A W. Highland Road resident reported property damage to his yard after someone drove through it.

Dec. 24—Police assisted Macedonia Fire Department with an unresponsive female at a W. Aurora Road healthcare facility. The female died due to natural causes.

Dec. 27—Officers were dispatched to a Greenwood Parkway residence for report of a woman having a psychiatric situation. She was taken to the hospital.

Dec. 30—A female resident reported identity theft after someone stole her social security number and gained access to her bank account. ∞
