Tickets are $15 and can be purchased at Star Sports, 7033 Mill Rd. in Brecksville; Broadview Chiropractic & Health, 1100 W. Royalton Rd. in Broadview Heights; or by contacting Rich Delroso of the Brecksville Kiwanis at 216-433-6774 or Kevin Krcmar of the Broadview Heights Lions Club at 440-590-2380 or klkrcmar@gmail.com.

Empty Bowls is an international grassroots effort to fight hunger. Guests are invited for a simple meal of bread and soup in exchange for a donation and are asked to take one of the bowls home as a reminder of the seriousness of food insecurity here at home and around the world.

Cuyahoga County has been listed as the most food insecure county in Ohio.

The ceramic bowls are made and donated by students from the Brecksville Center for the Arts; the Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School Art Department; Kent State University and more. ∞
