Chippewa Garden Club ends 2023 with botanical Christmas tree program

In 2023, Chippewa Garden Club volunteers provided the seniors of Broadview Heights with a variety of programs highlighting nature’s beauty and its unique influence on our lives. Each program was formulated to focus on promoting socialization amongst participants and the nurturing of personal talents through the use of botanical materials.

At the Broadview Heights Human Services Center on Dec. 8, participants were assisted in creating botanical Christmas trees. Supplies included foraged twigs, dried hydrangea, pine cones, acorns, and donated flower pots provided by the Club, along with accessories. Each participant created a tree expressive of their own personalized design interpretation while enjoying the presence of holiday cheer!

The club has also announced it will resume the “Senior Enrichment through Nature” programs for Broadview Heights Seniors in 2024.  Call 440-526-4074 to RSVP. ∞
