Winter Wonders was huge success

The Lodge of Richfield Heritage Preserve was packed with guests to the Winter Wonders event, sponsored by the Friends on Saturday, Dec. 2.

The 11th annual Winter Wonders brought over 400 people to the Lodge, which was beautifully decorated for the holiday. Visitors shopped the tables of several vendors, bought the famous Friends Christmas cookies, sat on Sunny the Reindeer, rode in the horse-drawn carriage, made a Christmas craft or just browsed.

Karen Smik and Cynthia McWilliams co-chaired the event. They said the Friends made over $3,000 in sponsorship but the total profit for the day has not yet been calculated.
