Holiday hours announced

Brecksville city offices, the service department and the human services center will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 23 for Thanksgiving Day; Monday, Dec. 25 for Christmas Day; and Monday, Jan. 1 for New Year’s Day.

Trash and recycling scheduled for Dec. 25 and Jan. 1 will be Dec. 26 and Jan. 2 respectively.

Whenever trash and recycling pickup falls on a city holiday, service will be provided on the next business day.

Live-cut Christmas trees without trimmings or bags will be collected at the curb on regularly scheduled trash pickup days from Dec. 26 to Jan. 6. ∞
