New development started across from winery

The city of Broadview Heights has approved a residential/cluster housing development on 15 acres on the northeast corner of Boston and Broadview roads, on the border of Richfield.

Last November the city’s voters approved a rezoning of the property from C-2 commercial to B-1 residential/cluster townhomes. Bordeaux Crossings will be a 60-unit project that will abut the New Hampton subdivision. It will feature clustered townhomes in groupings of two to four units.

A dedicated street with access from both Boston and Broadview roads, which will include a cul-de-sac, will feature sidewalks and streetlight posts. The developer, Petros Development Group, agreed to a plan that includes an 80-foot buffer zone with mounding and tree plantings.

Construction will start soon with units off of Boston Road.  ∞
