Election underway for Summit Soil and Water Supervisors

Individuals who own or occupy land within the Summit County Soil and Water Conservation District and are 18 years of age or older may vote for two supervisors, to be elected to a three‐year term commencing Jan. 1. Nominees are Andrew Brown, Erin Mundorf and Gregory F. Zimmerman.

There are three ways to cast a ballot:

• At the SWCD office, 1180 S. Main St., STE 230, Akron, until Sept. 20, during normal business hours, 7:30 a.m.-4 p.m.
• Voting at the SWCD annual meeting, which will take place at Sarah’s Vineyard, 1204 W. Steels Corners Rd., Cuyahoga Falls, on Sept. 21, from 1-2 p.m.
• Voting absentee by requesting the ballot application and election ballot from the SWCD office by calling 330‐926‐2445, or emailing staff@summitoh.net.

The SWCD office must receive absentee ballots before Sept. 21 at 8 a.m. Voters can only pick up absentee ballots for themselves and household members living at the same address. ∞
