The Cuyahoga County Board of Elections has announced that vote-by-mail and early in-person voting began on July 11 for the Aug. 8 special election.
The special election will decide State Issue 1, a proposed amendment to the Ohio Constitution.
The Board of Elections is encouraging voters to take advantage of the convenience of voting by mail.
Vote-by-mail ballot applications are available online at 43vote.us, by calling 216-443-VOTE (8683) and at all public libraries. Applications must be received by the Board of Elections on or before 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug.1.
