Annual Reunion Weekend planned for Brecksville Home Days celebration
The Brecksville-Broadview Heights Alumni Association will host its annual Reunion Weekend in conjunction with Brecksville Home Days June 23-25.
Events scheduled for Friday, June 23 include the 21st Annual Bud Wisnieski Golf Outing, which tees off at 9 a.m. at St. Bernard Golf Club, 5364 W. Streetsboro Rd. in Richfield. Interested participants are asked to contact Al Travaglianti at altrav273@live.com or 216-496-6549 for information.
Reservations for that same evening for the Alumni Reunion at Sleepy Hollow Golf Course in Brecksville are due by June 2.
Reservations to tour the Brecksville Middle School, which once served as the community’s high school, will take place on Saturday, June 24,from noon-1 p.m. or 1-2 p.m., may be made with Annette Hess Mantkowski at amantkowski@hotmail.com or 330-730-2478.
From 8 a.m.- noon on Saturday, June 24 and Sunday, June 25, the organization’s annual Pancake Breakfast will take place, rain or shine, inside the Brecksville Horticulture Building on Stadium Drive. Unlimited pancakes, as well as sausage, applesauce and beverages will be offered. The cost each day is $6 for adults and $4 for children under the age of 12.
Guests may also wish to participate in the many activities offered by the city of Brecksville throughout the festival, including the Concert on the Square.
