Stewart’s Caring Place seeks local artwork for 20th anniversary exhibition

Stewart’s Caring Place, a cancer wellness center serving 22 counties in Ohio, is hosting “Kaleidoscope,” an exhibition for local creatives and artists, in its Healing Arts Gallery from March 30 to Aug. 1. During 2023, Stewart’s Caring Place is celebrating its 20th anniversary, and Kaleidoscope will be a part of honoring the lives of those impacted by the nonprofit.

Stewart’s is looking for finalized photographs, poems, drawings, paintings, and keepsakes that tell a story. Participants do not have to be professional artists to participate – the exhibit is open to all. Additionally, if the art piece is for sale, the entire sale of the art piece goes directly to the artist.

“We know the power of art for a community, for inspiration and for healing,” said Jeannine Marks, president and CEO of Stewart’s Caring Place. “With hundreds of individuals and families walking through our doors monthly, we’re honored to host these works of art that honor the stories and people we’re so grateful to serve.”

The Stewart’s Caring Place team will review submissions, and artists will be notified of selection by March 17.
