Hudsonites spar for Ohio seats in the Nov. 8 election; mayor uncontested

by Judy Stringer

Four Hudson residents face off for state offices on the Nov. 8 General Election ballot, which also incudes a race for the governorship and a slew of federal, state, judicial and county seats.

Patricia Goetz (D-Hudson) is challenging Kristina Roegner (R-Hudson) for her 27th District Ohio Senate seat. Meanwhile, Beth Bigham (R-Hudson), currently a Hudson City Council member, seeks to unseat Casey Weinstein (D-Hudson) as the Ohio House Representative for the 34th District.

Jeffrey Anzevino, appointed Hudson mayor following the resignation of Craig Shubert in February, is running uncontested to complete Shubert’s term that ends Dec. 5, 2023. ∞
