Many options for Halloween fun

The end of October will offer several opportunities for Halloween fun and treats.

On Sunday, Oct. 30, the Richfield Joint Recreation District and the village of Richfield is collaborating to offer Trick or Treat on the Trail with Spooky Tales. Children will hike on the trails of Richfield Heritage Preserve and hear spooky tales and search for candy.

Children six years old and under are invited from 2-4 p.m. Children seven and older are invited from 5-7 p.m. Use the Broadview Road entrance and park near the Lodge.

On Monday, Oct. 31, families are invited to walk in the Halloween parade. Parade walkers will congregate at 5:30 p.m. at Fellowship Hall, 3909 Broadview Road, and at 5:45 p.m. will start walking to the fire station on W. Streetsboro Road, with a police escort. Treats will be handed out in the fire station.

For those who want to travel on their own, trick or treating in the neighborhoods will be held on Oct. 31 from 6-8 p.m. Turn on your porch lights, if you are offering treats. ∞
