International Women’s Air & Space Museum hosting “Rocket Day”

The International Women’s Air & Space Museum will host its “Rocket Day” event on June 16. This year’s event celebrates the 60th anniversary of Valentina Tereshkova becoming the first woman in space, and the 40th anniversary of Sally Ride’s historic flight. Rocket Day is geared toward children ages 5-12. Learn about the history of rocketry, types of rockets, and build a variety of rockets.
