Kindergartener is ‘Principal for the Day’ at IPS

Kindergartener Camden Grenig was the Independence Primary School principal for a day at the end of May. He raised the most money for the school’s “Fun Run” and won the prize of being principal at IPS. The fun run raised money for the school’s wellness initiatives.

Camden had a busy morning with bus duty, morning announcements, giving out birthday pencils, and a breakfast meeting with Superintendent Ben Hegedish.

He also had a meeting with the last year’s principal for the day, Robert, who shared what he should expect. Camden also walked the hallways to greet staff and students, read a book to some classes, had recess and lunch duty and ate lunch with IPS Principal TJ Ebert. He ended his day by helping with car dismissal and bus calls. ∞
