Native American presentation

The Independence Historical Society is hosting a presentation that explores local Native American culture and stories. The event will cover information from the book Native Americans of the Cuyahoga Valley by Peg Bobel and Linda G. Whitman.

It will be held Sept. 9, from 6-8:30 p.m., at the Independence Civic Center. Light refreshments will be served at this free event. Guests are asked to register ahead of time by visiting independencehistoricalsociety.com/events.
