The Independence Branch Library, at 6361 Selig Dr., is hosting “A more perfect Union” tribute on Sept. 14, at 7 p.m. To commemorate our nation’s 250th, the Largely Literary Theater Company offers a tribute to the writing and the writers who inspired the cause of American independence, who took 13 very different colonies and made them united states, and who then convinced those states to adopt a constitutional republic in order to form a more perfect union.
