Polish Genealogical Society of Greater Cleveland
The Polish Genealogical Society of Greater Cleveland will meet on Oct. 6 at 7 p.m. at St. Mary’s Polish National Catholic Church Hall, 5375 Broadview Rd. in Parma.
The speaker will be Glenn Sobola, president of the Slavic Village Historical Society. His presentation is titled “It Wasn’t Always Slavic Village,” which hints at the earliest inhabitants of the area.
The PGSGC is a group of members interested in discovering their Polish ancestry and heritage. Their goal is to assist members in their search for their family ancestral line using useful tools, techniques and databases focused on discovering not only the identity of their Polish ancestors but also more about their lives through the history and culture of Poland. All are invited to attend.
