Broadview Heights Home Days

Jul 08 - 11

This year’s Home Days celebration will take place Thursday, July 8 through Sunday, July 11 at the Broadview Heights City Campus, 9543 Broadview Road, near the community amphitheater.

Guests can expect to see some new events this summer, including a live performance by magician Rick Smith Jr. The world record-holder and Broadview Heights resident will be performing on Saturday at the Amphitheater.

Live interactive artist, Its Artsee Live, who is also known as Broadview Heights resident Kay Sauder, also will be on hand this year to encourage passersby to assist in painting a Home Days scene. Once completed, this painting will be displayed at the Broadview Heights Community Center.

DJ Jim Rio will also make a return, entertaining the kids with his music selections, prize-winning games and contests and Dr. UR Awesome’s Bubble Palooza will be available throughout the event on the football field.

In addition to some of the community’s favorite local bands, Recess and Spotlights Rock, the event will also feature several new bands this year, including Becky Boyd and the Groove Train, Victor Samalot, Thor Platter, Blue Matter and The GeezeCats.

The entertainment lineup is being made possible by this year’s Home Days sponsors, which include Danbury Woods Assisted Living, Faulhaber Funeral Home, Fuerst Automotive, Geotech Services, Giant Eagle, Lava Massage and Skin Care, Ohio Cat, Savina Pavluk’s State Farm Insurance, UFCW Local 880 and University Hospitals.
