Celebrating the Revere High School Class of 2026 and our school community
It is with great pride and admiration that we celebrate the remarkable Revere High School Class of 2026. As this outstanding group of students prepares to graduate on Thursday, May 28, in Joseph F. Pappano Stadium, we do so with confidence in their abilities, gratitude for their leadership and excitement for their future.
Graduation day at Revere is more than a ceremony – it is a reflection of our entire school community. The day begins with the annual “Passing of the Scroll Ceremony” in the main gym, a tradition that symbolizes both continuity and change. We honor our seniors while also welcoming the next class of student leaders, including the transition of responsibility from the senior class president to the newly elected senior class president for the 2026-27 school year.
From there, our seniors take part in one of our most meaningful traditions: district-wide graduation walks. Dressed in caps and gowns, they return to each school building where younger students line the hallways cheering them on. It is a powerful moment that reminds us that being a Minuteman is not just a season of life, but a lifelong connection.
The day concludes with a fireworks celebration in honor of the Class of 2026 – a fitting tribute to an unforgettable group of students.
To the Class of 2026: thank you for your spirit, your leadership and your legacy. You will always be part of the Revere family. As we like to say, “Once a Minuteman, always a Minuteman.” Congratulations!
As we celebrate our graduates, I am often asked, “What makes Revere special?” The answer is always the same – the people.
That was especially evident at a recent PTA luncheon, where our Parent Teacher Association honored staff with awards such as “Helping Hands” and “Outstanding Educator,” along with heartfelt recognition and a shared meal. It was a powerful reminder of a community that deeply values its schools and those who serve children each day.
At Revere, we are defined by a strong balance of high expectations and high support. Our community holds a commitment to excellence while also providing the resources, encouragement and partnership needed to achieve it. That shared dedication builds lasting momentum, where success builds upon success, and together we lift every student higher in pursuit of one common goal: Every Student Thrives.
