Vote-by-mail, early in-person voting underway for Aug. 2 primary

The Aug. 2 Primary Election will decide the Ohio House and the Ohio Senate candidates who will advance to the Nov. 8 general election. State Central Committee members will also be on the ballot.

The Cuyahoga County Board of Elections is encouraging voters to take advantage of the convenience of voting by mail. Vote-by-Mail ballot applications are available online at 443vote.us, or by calling 216-443-VOTE (8683) and at all public libraries.

This is a partisan primary election. Voters must choose a Democratic or Republican ballot when submitting a Vote-by-Mail ballot application. People who voted by mail in the May primary must submit a new Vote-by-Mail ballot application to vote in the August primary.

Early in-person voting is located at the board of elections, 2925 Euclid Ave., Cleveland. Voting hours can be found at 443vote.us. ∞
