Two new Revere administrators meet the board

by Sheldon Ocker

April 20 school board meeting

Revere Schools Superintendent Matt Montgomery introduced two new members of the administrative staff, Marcia Roach and Andrew Peltz, to the board of education.

During the meeting, the board ratified the hiring of Roach as curriculum coordinator, a newly created position made necessary by the retirements of Kathy Nolan, director of curriculum and instruction, and Judy Myers, human resources chief, at the conclusion of the school year.

Roach comes from the Cleveland Metropolitan School District, where she was program manager/curriculum and instruction. Previously she was program coordinator in the Office of Field Services at Cleveland State University, advising teachers on lesson planning and lesson presentation for five years, beginning in 2014.
