Touch-a-Truck

The Hinckley Fire Department will host its annual Touch-a-Truck event Saturday, Sept. 12, from 1-5 p.m.

The event, which will take place at the Hinckley Fire Station, 1616 Ridge Rd., will feature a variety of trucks, including fire trucks, ambulances, rescue vehicles, special equipment and more.

The first hour of the event, from 1-2 p.m., will be a sensory hour, during which no lights or sirens will be activated.

Additionally, the fire department will host a push-in ceremony for its newest ambulance, which was delivered to the township in August.
