Estate planning, tax-smart charitable giving strategies
Hudson Community Foundation will host a free educational program, Estate Planning and Tax-Smart Charitable Giving Strategies, to provide practical guidance on estate planning, tax considerations and charitable giving. The session will cover estate planning fundamentals, current tax laws and strategies to help individuals and families preserve, protect and transfer wealth efficiently. Participants will learn about planning tools, ways to support financial and philanthropic goals and charitable giving opportunities that may help reduce income, capital gains and estate taxes.
The program is designed for individuals planning for their family’s future as well as professional advisors seeking current information. Speakers will include Trey Bennett, attorney, Stark & Knoll Co.; Jessica Tepus, CPA, director of private client services, Bober Markey Federovich; and Amy Jordan, president, Hudson Community Foundation.
